How to Become a Foster Parent
Orientation
Learn about foster care and our agency. Contact us to schedule your orientation.
Training
Complete required training hours (trainings held monthly).
Licensing
Work with a dedicated licensing specialist to get your home licensed. We help with supplies needed for inspection.
Placement
Welcome a child into your home with ongoing 24/7 support from our team.

Arizona Tax Credit
Give up to $632 (or $1,262 if married) — and owe the state that much less.
Arizona residents can redirect state tax dollars directly to Grace Retreat. It costs you nothing extra.
Who Can Become a Foster Parent?
- At least 21 years of age
- Legal U.S. and Arizona resident
- Able to obtain a fingerprint card
- Able to pass criminal history records check

Grace Retreat is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization — all donations are tax-deductible.
100% of donations go directly to supporting foster families and children.
